Yokohama Arena seat view and sound experience
Sound experience
About the sound
A sample combining rhythm and melody · Direction and distance change with your seat.
Model calculations from the selected seat to the reference point. A larger angular size means the person appears larger.
Furniture size and posture are illustrative. Adjust the A/B eye heights to compare. Seat type alone adds no score bonus.

Comparing seats at Yokohama Arena
Compare stage distance, front and side views, and sound direction in A/B. Views may change with the actual stage and equipment layout. Blocks, rows and numbers follow the official seat guide (row 12 in arena blocks A and D and row 11 in blocks B, C, E and F are the cross aisle). The arena seats are movable, so their heights are estimates chosen within the operator's lift ranges, and the stand heights are estimates too. Check the actual stage layout and the sections on sale with the ticket seller.
How this experience was built
What sources confirm — We read every seat cell drawn on the operator's (Yokohama Arena Co., Ltd.) enlarged seat guides for patterns A, B and centre (5000 × 3758 px) and gave the 5,498 arena seats in blocks A–F and the 3,271 stand seats of end-stage pattern A their blocks, rows and numbers (the operator's figures for pattern A). Numbers are the digits printed on the cells and rows follow the row labels on the chart (22 rows of arena seats, 10 rows of stand seats); cells hidden under the block letters were filled from the numbers either side and the cell spacing. The scale fits the outer extent of the six arena-seat blocks to the operator's official "oval 114 m × 78 m" (width and depth agree within 0.2%), and it matches within 0.1% the end-to-end length of the stands on the operator's ceiling-rigging plan measured with the 12 m main-beam spacing given by the builder, Takenaka Corporation. Seat pitch is 0.48–0.50 m, the arena-seat row pitch 0.95 m and the stand row pitch 0.80 m. The heights of the arena seats (the Lambda movable seating) come from the operator's table of unit lift ranges (row 22 at 5.0 m = the fixed 2F walkway).
What remains estimated — Arena-seat row heights are estimates that take each lift-range ceiling as the height of the last row in its group (rows 1–4 of the straight blocks A and D have a ceiling of 0.1 m, so they are flat; rows 1–3 of the corner blocks extend the slope). Stand heights are estimates read from the perspective of an operator facility photo because no official section is published (row 1 at 6.9 m, 0.44 m per row, row 10 at 11.3 m, about ±0.5 m). The centre seats (the 1F floor, 3,114 in pattern A) are not included because no official row layout is published, and the 140 suite and box seats and 1,420 standing places are left out because the chart has no cells for them. The stage is a model 36 m wide, 12 m deep and 1.5 m high, placed where the official pattern-A stage boundary comes furthest forward on the centre line; the real stage size and arena layout change from show to show. The 61 seats filled in under block letters may be off by about half a seat. The roof, walls and acoustics are modeled.
Views are calculated using a 1.75 m figure, your chosen eye height and seat coordinates. Actual obstructions from people, railings or equipment and show-specific layouts may not be represented. Sound samples compare the direction and distance of instruments, speakers and crowds. They do not reproduce the venue’s actual sound quality or reverberation. Scores indicate preference fit; actual obstructions, sound quality and price are not yet included.
