About the sound
Bat, ball and field sounds · Direction and distance change with your seat.
Model calculations from the selected seat to the reference point. A larger angular size means the person appears larger.
Furniture size and posture are illustrative. Adjust the A/B eye heights to compare. Seat type alone adds no score bonus.

Comparing seats at Kyocera Dome Osaka
Compare distance to home plate, infield and outfield views, and crowd sounds in A/B. Actual netting, railings and people in front may obstruct the view differently. Block names combine the ticket's side and level (1st base / 3rd base, lower / upper) with the block's seat-number range. Rows and numbers are the operator's seat-search data as is; the movable rows at the front of the lower stand are rows A–P. Heights and the upper-stand position are estimates.

In ORIX Buffaloes home games the club makes the “home lower outfield reserved seats (right)” the Buffaloes cheering area and the “visitor lower outfield reserved seats (left)” the visitors' cheering area, and its 2026 ticket guide places the cheering groups at right-field row 18 seats 561–583 and rows 19–21 seats 561–584, and at left-field row 18 seats 513–543 and rows 19–20 seats 512–544. The blocks holding those seats are the cheering reference points. Part of the visitor seats is sometimes sold to Buffaloes fans as “home lower outfield reserved seats (left)”, but the range changes by game, so it is not in the zone; the visitors' zone runs from the left-field pole to the block with seats 641–655 (the club seat map's zone boundary carried onto the blocks, an estimate). No cheering stage is modelled. Choose “Cheering” as the seat preference to rank seats near these zones first; the crowd sound in the audio preview also comes from here.
How this experience was built
What sources confirm — We read the outlines of the 304 lower- and upper-stand blocks from the operator's (Osaka City Dome) vector PDF “Seating chart for baseball” and attached every seat in the seat-search app on the same site (34,522 seats: block, row, seat number, aisle) to its block. The field on that chart is drawn to scale, so we fitted the outfield fence to the operator's published 100 m to both poles and 122 m to centre by least squares (1 pt = 0.294 m, residuals 1.5 m or less; one side of the diamond comes out at 27.45 m). Rows run parallel to each block's front with the official number of rows, and each row's seats sit in official number order in the middle of the row; numbers skipped for vomitories stay empty. Row spacing is read from the chart (lower 0.75 m, movable rows 0.78 m, outfield 0.70 m, upper 0.88–0.90 m). The cheering zones follow the club's spectator rules and the cheering-group seats listed in its 2026 ticket guide.
What remains estimated — There is no official section drawing, so heights are estimates. From several of the 18 photo points in the operator's seat search we back-solved the camera from home plate, the bases, the pitcher's plate and the poles (look-down to home ±1°, distance ±3 m) and set the lower stand at 3.6 m for row 1 rising 0.30 m per row, the movable rows from 1.0 m at row A rising 0.15 m, the outfield from 5.7 m at row 18 rising 0.40 m, and the upper stand at 17.5 m for row 1 rising 0.62 m. The chart spreads the upper stand outward so it does not overlap the lower one; to match the photos we pulled the whole upper stand toward the centre of the bowl (18 m behind home plate, 10 m in the outfield), so its position is uncertain by 2–3 m. Seat layout in the FA/FB field seats, the rake of the movable rows, railing heights, the roof shape and the acoustics are estimates. Outfield restaurant seats, Vista rooms and wheelchair spaces are not in the seat data and are not included.
Views are calculated using a 1.75 m figure, your chosen eye height and seat coordinates. Actual obstructions from people, railings or equipment and show-specific layouts may not be represented. Sound samples compare the direction and distance of instruments, speakers and crowds. They do not reproduce the venue’s actual sound quality or reverberation. Scores indicate preference fit; actual obstructions, sound quality and price are not yet included.
Orchestral audio: original samples made from VSCO 2 CE recordings (Versilian Studios, CC0). Band and game sounds are synthesized. Crowd audio uses Sandermotions’ CC0 recordings, not recordings from this venue.
