Comparing seats at K-Arena Yokohama

Compare stage distance, front and side views, and sound direction in A/B. Views may change with the actual stage and equipment layout. Blocks, rows and numbers follow the official seat map (the 5F Front blocks are the balcony seats). Heights mix values read from the section with estimates, and the arena layout changes from show to show. Check the actual stage layout and the sections on sale with the ticket seller.

What sources confirm — We read all 1,253 rows drawn on the operator's (K Arena Management) official vector seat-map PDF and gave the 19,893 seats on LEVEL 1, 3, 5 and 7 their blocks, rows and numbers. Numbers are the seat-number range printed on each row bar and rows are the row labels in the aisles; block names match the number ranges on the official enlarged maps (the 235 balcony seats of the middle stand match the seat supplier's case study, “3 rows, 235 seats”). The plan scale and the position and height of each level come from the design team's (Azusa Sekkei, Kokken, Kajima) longitudinal section published in Nikkei Architecture, 9 November 2023 (13 horizontal dimension spans). At the scale of 8.2 pt/m set by the depth of lower-stand rows 12–29 and upper-stand rows 1–28, the seat pitch is 0.49 m and the stand row pitch 0.83 m; tread heights on the centre line are 2.5→6.7 m in the lower stand, 11.8→16.8 m in the middle stand (balcony seats in front at 10.2 m) and 24.2→37.3 m in the upper stand. The middle stand is placed by the front edge of the balcony deck in the section; a comparison with 44 seat-view photos from the operator and visitors confirmed that from the middle-stand centre the balcony front hides the back of the arena and the lower stand is out of sight. The arena and the lower stand are joined where the two floor outlines on the seat map share the same edge.

What remains estimated — The section covers only the centre line, so side blocks reuse the height of the same row number (an estimate), and because the section image has 0.23 m per pixel the scale carries about ±3% and the heights about ±0.3 m. Lower-stand rows 1–11 (retractable seating) rise evenly from 0.25 m above the arena floor at row 1 to the height of row 12 at row 11 (0.22 m steps — lower than the supplier's standard 260–360 mm, so row 12 may have been read low); the 0.3 m steps of the middle-stand balcony seats and the heights of rows 6–9 and side-block rows 1–5 and 18–26 (continuing the section's rake) are also estimates. The solid front walls of the upper stand and the balcony (0.8 m and 0.9 m) with a 1.1 m handrail approximate the shape seen in photos and are not measured. The 34-row arena (LEVEL 1) is the example layout published by the operator; the stage and the arena layout change from show to show. The stage is a model 44 m wide, 11.5 m deep and 1.6 m high, placed 2.2 m in front of arena row 1. The permanent base stage drawn in the section reaches about 3 m further forward, and with it the front arena rows would differ. The 140-seat difference between the official 20,033 seats and the seat map (apparently the 11 VIP BOX rooms) and the wheelchair spaces are not included; the roof, walls and acoustics are modeled.

Views are calculated using a 1.75 m figure, your chosen eye height and seat coordinates. Actual obstructions from people, railings or equipment and show-specific layouts may not be represented. Sound samples compare the direction and distance of instruments, speakers and crowds. They do not reproduce the venue’s actual sound quality or reverberation. Scores indicate preference fit; actual obstructions, sound quality and price are not yet included.
