Comparing seats at Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark

Cheering sections at Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark
- 1st-base home cheer stage Block 103–Block 108
- 3rd-base away cheering section Block 117–Block 119
The official 2026 seating guide labels first base HOME and third base AWAY, and colors the cheering-section seats as blocks 103–108 on first base and 117–119 on third base. The home cheer stage is drawn on the same plan as a strip in front of blocks 105–107. No away cheer stage is drawn, so the away zone is centered on blocks 117–119 without a stage. Choose “Cheering” as the seat preference to rank seats near these zones first; the crowd sound in the audio preview also comes from here.
How this experience was built
What sources confirm — We extracted 95 general-seating block outlines (1F 101–124 and 100A–C, 2F 201–225, 3F 302 and 326–330, 4F 400–422, outfield 501–508) from the seating guide in the 2026 TICKET page on the Hanwha Eagles’ official website. The drawing’s fence and infield agree with the official dimensions (left 99 m, center 122 m, right 95 m) to within 1–2%, so we converted it at a scale of 0.312 m/px. The positions and heights of the 2nd to 4th floors were fitted to camera positions back-solved from the home plate and mound directions in 13 scenes of the club’s official seat VR (middle of block 415: about 53 m horizontally from home plate and about 27 m high). The 20,007-seat capacity is Daejeon City’s figure.
What remains estimated — The seating guide draws the floors side by side, so we pulled the 2nd floor about 10–13 m, the 3rd floor 8 m and the 4th floor about 21–28 m toward home plate. Blocks behind home plate agree with the VR to within about 1 m in plan, but upper-tier blocks on the first- and third-base sides sit about 10° further behind home than in the VR, and eye heights differ from the VR by up to ±2 m. Per-block seat counts are not published, so seat counts are area-based examples (table seats at half density), and rows, numbers, riser heights, railings, roof and sound are modeled values. Sky boxes, Innings VIP seats, infield box seats, the 1st-floor table-seat strips, the Splash seats (423–426), the lawn, outfield couple seats and outfield table seats (509) are excluded. The 3D field uses a symmetric fence (95 m at the poles, 122 m to center, 2.4 m high), so the 99 m left-field line and the 8 m right-field Monster Wall are not shown.
Views are calculated using a 1.75 m figure, your chosen eye height and seat coordinates. Actual obstructions from people, railings or equipment and show-specific layouts may not be represented. Sound samples compare the direction and distance of instruments, speakers and crowds. They do not reproduce the venue’s actual sound quality or reverberation. Scores indicate preference fit; actual obstructions, sound quality and price are not yet included.
Orchestral audio: original samples made from VSCO 2 CE recordings (Versilian Studios, CC0). Band and game sounds are synthesized. Crowd audio uses Sandermotions’ CC0 recordings, not recordings from this venue.
