Comparing seats at Daegu Samsung Lions Park
Compare distance to home plate, infield and outfield views, and crowd sounds in A/B. Actual netting, railings and people in front may obstruct the view differently. Section numbers follow the official seating guide (3-3, T1-2, U22, etc.); on 5F, “Front” is SKY Lower and “Rear” is SKY Upper or the SKY Blue Zone. Row and seat numbers are illustrative for exploration.
Cheering sections at Daegu Samsung Lions Park
- 3rd-base home cheer stage Section 3-1–Section 3-7, Section U20 Rear–Section U24 Rear
- 1st-base away cheering section Section 1-1–Section 1-5
The club’s official Lions Park guide marks the third-base entrance (Gate 21) as HOME and the first-base entrance (Gate 1) as AWAY, and the designer-builder also states that the home team’s stands are on the third-base side. The Blue Zone on the 2026 official seating guide (third-base sections 3-1–3-7) and the 5F SKY Blue Zone (U20–U24) form the home cheering zone, and the away cheering seats (first-base sections 1-1–1-5) the away zone. The guide does not show the 3F cheer stage, so it is placed in front of sections 3-3 and 3-4, following fan guides that describe Blue Zone sections 2–4 as facing the stage. The guide also marks a cheer stage in front of U22 on 5F, but this experience shows only the one on 3F. No away cheer stage is shown because its position could not be confirmed. Choose “Cheering” as the seat preference to rank seats near these zones first; the crowd sound in the audio preview also comes from here.
How this experience was built
What sources confirm — We extracted the outlines of 35 3F infield sections (1-1–1-12, table seats, 3-1–3-12), 20 outfield reserved sections (LF, RF) and the 5F SKY Lower sections U1–U31 from the seating guide in the Samsung Lions’ official 2026 ticket guide, and split the 5F upper band into 31 sections matching the U numbers in front of it. The scale sets one side of the infield square on the guide to the 27.43 m base path; at that scale the fences measure 98.1 m (left), 97.6 m (right) and 120.6 m (center). Home on the third-base side and away on the first-base side follow the gate labels in the club’s Lions Park guide (Gate 21 HOME, Gate 1 AWAY).
What remains estimated — The seating guide is schematic and has no per-section capacities, so seats are area-based examples. Rows, numbers, tier heights, rises, railings and acoustics are estimates. The designer-builder states 18.3 m from the lower stands to first and third base, but the guide’s scale gives about 20–25 m, so lower-deck seats may be slightly farther away than in reality. The guide draws the 5F SKY seats outside the suites; following the designer’s description of a cantilevered upper stand, they are pulled about 20 m toward home plate, an estimate not yet checked against seat photos. The 5F upper-section boundaries are an interpretation based on the positions of the U numbers. The fence is drawn as a curve instead of the octagon’s straight segments, and its height is a default because no official value was found. VIP, Exciting seats, wheelchair areas, suites, the Party Floor, outfield table/couple/family seats, the rooftop, lawn and camping zones are excluded.
Views are calculated using a 1.75 m figure, your chosen eye height and seat coordinates. Actual obstructions from people, railings or equipment and show-specific layouts may not be represented. Sound samples compare the direction and distance of instruments, speakers and crowds. They do not reproduce the venue’s actual sound quality or reverberation. Scores indicate preference fit; actual obstructions, sound quality and price are not yet included.
Orchestral audio: original samples made from VSCO 2 CE recordings (Versilian Studios, CC0). Band and game sounds are synthesized. Crowd audio uses Sandermotions’ CC0 recordings, not recordings from this venue.
