Ariake Arena seat view and sound experience
Sound experience
About the sound
A sample combining rhythm and melody · Direction and distance change with your seat.
Model calculations from the selected seat to the reference point. A larger angular size means the person appears larger.
Furniture size and posture are illustrative. Adjust the A/B eye heights to compare. Seat type alone adds no score bonus.

Comparing seats at Ariake Arena
Compare stage distance, front and side views, and sound direction in A/B. Views may change with the actual stage and equipment layout. Blocks (2F B·C·D, 3F G, 4F F·H) follow the official plan; the number after a block is an aisle-bounded part. Rows and seat numbers are not in the official material, so they are example counts from the front and from the left (2F rows start at 13, after the retractable rows). Heights mix values read from the design section with estimates, and the arena layout changes from show to show.
How this experience was built
What sources confirm — We read all 1,165 row bars (704 of them fixed seats used in this layout) on the floor seating plans (2F, 3F, 4F–5F) in the operator's (Tokyo Ariake Arena Co.) 'Guide to Facility Use' for organisers, giving the blocks (2F A–D, 3F E·G, 4F–5F F·H) and every row position. The scale fits the plan's arena void to the official 76 × 54 m (14.32 px/m on all three sheets); spreading each block's official seat count over its bar lengths gives an even 0.47–0.48 m seat pitch in every block. Heights come from the design section published by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (Takenaka, 2016, 1:200): above the arena floor, the 2F deck is 5.5 m, the 2F stand 6.6→11.1 m (section treads 7.1→10.8 m), the 3F floor 11.1 m, the 3F end stand 8.5→10.6 m (front) and 12.1→19.7 m (rear), and the 4F–5F stand 13.9→20.3 m. The section's 0.90 m tread pitch equals the plan's 0.90 m row pitch, so the two drawings' scales agree. The arena is the operator's end-stage layout example (47 blocks; stage 45.6 m wide, 13.0 m deep) filled at 0.5 m seats and 0.85 m rows, 4,014 seats (official 'about 4,000').
What remains estimated — The official plan has no row or seat numbers, so rows are counted from the arena side within each block and seat numbers from the audience's left — an example that may differ from real tickets. 2F rows start at 13, after the retractable rows 1–12, and 4F–5F rows run to 13, counting the diagonal corner row with the first rear row (a visitor photo of '2F Block B row 23' is B's last row, and the 4F Block F aisle sign '13' is F's last row). The section is a 2016 detailed-design drawing and covers only one long side (D·H) and one end (A·E), so the opposite sides (B·F, C·G) are mirrored. Rows beyond the section (the partial 2F front row and 3F-landing row, the 4F–5F partial row in front of the cross aisle, and the five 3F end-stand rows in front of the vomitory) continue the same rake as estimates, and the two 2F front rows on the long sides sit flat at the section's deck height (5.5 m). The arena layout, stage size (592 m² as drawn; official stage area 500 m²) and the 1.5 m stage height are examples that change from show to show. 2F A and 3F E behind the stage, the retractable seats folded away for the end stage, wheelchair and amenity spaces and the 3F BOX seats are not included; the roof, walls and acoustics are modelled.
Views are calculated using a 1.75 m figure, your chosen eye height and seat coordinates. Actual obstructions from people, railings or equipment and show-specific layouts may not be represented. Sound samples compare the direction and distance of instruments, speakers and crowds. They do not reproduce the venue’s actual sound quality or reverberation. Scores indicate preference fit; actual obstructions, sound quality and price are not yet included.
