Sound experience
About the sound
A sample combining rhythm and melody · Direction and distance change with your seat.
Model calculations from the selected seat to the reference point. A larger angular size means the person appears larger.
Furniture size and posture are illustrative. Adjust the A/B eye heights to compare. Seat type alone adds no score bonus.

Comparing seats at Grand Peace Palace, Kyung Hee University
Compare stage distance, front and side views, and sound direction in A/B. Views may change with the actual stage and equipment layout. Seat numbers follow the official seating charts. Within a block they run back and forth from row 1, and because the charts do not label rows, rows are counted from the front of each block. The side balcony box seats are not included.
How this experience was built
What sources confirm — We read all 4,250 seat cells on the operator’s (Kyung Hee University) seating charts (2022, audience levels 1–3) and assigned blocks (A–E), rows and numbers (numbers run back and forth through each block from row 1), then placed the cells on the chairs drawn in the floor plans from the same archive (2013, 1:300; building floors 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6). The scale was checked against the plans’ overall 76.9 m dimension, and the curved stage front and the 24.6 m proscenium width were read from the 1F plan. The rake of the front eight rows on 3F (about 0.7 m per row) and their height, the height of the first row behind the 3F cross aisle, and a proscenium height of about 11.1 m were measured from the downward viewing angles in the operator’s 3F photo; that aisle is taken as the building’s 4th-floor level, where the chart marks the ‘4F entrances’.
What remains estimated — There is no section drawing, so heights are estimates. Rows 1–6 on 1F are flat as the ticket seller's notice says; the 0.94 m rise over rows 7–13, the 0.12 m/m over the 13 rows behind the cross aisle, the 1.0 m stage height, the storey height (about 5.9 m, splitting the rise from the last 1F aisle to the 3F cross aisle into three), the 5.2 m first row on 2F and the 1.8 m step behind the 2F cross aisle are estimates. In a 2026-10-24 check against audience photos, eye heights at seven 2F seats were mostly within 0.5 m of the model (two within 1.4 m) and 3F C row 4 within 0.2 m. The 3F front railing is set 1.15 m above the row-1 floor to match the photos and reviews (‘rows 1–2 on 3F barely see the stage because of the railing’), so the front of the stage is hidden from 3F rows 1–2. The charts have no row labels, so rows are counted from the front of each block (they match the row ranges on the armrest plates in audience photos); six cells whose outlines are not closed on the charts (1F A 180, 3F A 1 and 109, 3F C 5, 8 and 10) were filled at the neighbouring spacing, and seat spacing within each row was evened out. The 24 side balcony box seats on each of 2F and 3F are not included because their numbers cannot be read; railing shapes, walls, ceiling and acoustics are modeled.
Views are calculated using a 1.75 m figure, your chosen eye height and seat coordinates. Actual obstructions from people, railings or equipment and show-specific layouts may not be represented. Sound samples compare the direction and distance of instruments, speakers and crowds. They do not reproduce the venue’s actual sound quality or reverberation. Scores indicate preference fit; actual obstructions, sound quality and price are not yet included.
